We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic duty manager to join our growing company. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for leading your team to success and ensuring all work processes flow efficiently in order to help bring projects to completion. Management experience and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks are a must.

Duty Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct, oversee, and manage daily operations for our organization
  • Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures and implement new processes
  • Suggest changes to operating standards in order to improve the efficiency of work
  • Set departmental goals and create plans of action for achieving them
  • Work with the HR department to resolve employee issues and complaints
  • Help foster a positive working environment for all workers and check in regularly to ensure employee satisfaction
  • Maintain an efficient, organized workspace that encourages productivity at all times
  • Complete daily operational tasks in a timely manner
  • Perform general office duties as needed (sending/answering emails, phone calls, filing/electronically inputting forms, etc.)
  • Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
  • Set-up and attend company meetings as required
  • Train new hires in company processes and procedures
  • Organize and distribute schedules and assignments
  • Assist with budget creation
  • Maintain open lines of communication between all departments

Duty Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, the management or related field preferred
  • 2+ years working in a management position and familiar with such duties and responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of our specific industry a plus
  • Service industry experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships
  • Exceptional time-management and task-delegation skills
  • Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding communicator both verbally and written
  • Dynamic personality and strong leadership skills
